Hydro Extrusions Cheltenham
For this project, I worked closely with the company to realise their vision. As the wall was corrugated, it made it very difficult to paint smaller images or portraits and produce the kind of finish this project required. Consequently, the images were made as big as possible to enable detail.
The company wished to reflect their Cheltenham base and therefore the Neptune fountain was taken as inspiration. When designing the piece, I also drew from the classic Guinness advert featuring horses as the surf in the waves. This also refers to Cheltenham's obvious connection to horse racing.
The image also had to be painted in straight sections as the floor was uneven making it difficult to manoeuvre the scissor lift.
Painted entirely with spray paint.
